Edwards Colorado, Private collection: 20′ high, 18′ wide. galvanized steel, cast glass.
I made this outdoor sculpture for a private collector in Edwards, Colorado. The owners built a house on newly developed land. After a few months they felt the land haunted: their neighbors were getting sick and they heard moaning sounds in the forest. They found there had been an American/Native American battle on the land and wanted to build something to ease the spirits and commemorate the victims on both sides of the conflict. Cei3wooo means Spirit in Arapaho. The sculpture can be seen from afar as it glitters through the trees when the sun hits it’s surface.
